America’s Gay Potsmoking Founders
& Their Fantastic Psychedelic Adventures
by Harvey “Sluggo” Wasserman
A NOTE FROM BEYOND
The origins of this astonishing manuscript are a profound mystery.
It somehow materialized through various typewriters, MacBooks and desktops over the course of four decades.
We credit Tom Paine. He knew all the Founders lampooned herein. He and George Washington once loved each other. Then they didn’t.
If Tom did indulge in all this magical realism, he surely meant it as satire. He had scores to settle and truths to tell.
This Marquezian mystery tour demands falling through a very elusive rabbit hole. And maybe some heavy hits of Washington’s hemp, Hamilton’s ganja and Franklin’s ergot
But above all, it reminds us that we’re free to indulge thanks in large part to the amazing individuals so lovingly lampooned in this outrageous parody.
Go ask Lucy, when she’s 108 feet high.
